The Southern District of Indiana's Patent Case Management Plan has been revised and is effective as of November 3, 2014.  This revised plan replaces the former Phases I and II, and the former separate design patent plan.  To view the revised plan, please visit the court's Case Management Plans page by clicking here

The Judicial Conference of the United States has authorized the appointment of a part-time United States Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.  The magistrate judge official duty location for the position will be New Albany, Indiana.  The part-time magistrate judge will be appointed to a four-year term of office by the District Judges of the court, with the possibility of renewal.  For more information, please click on the full Public Notice attached below or visit the court's employment page at: http://www.insd.uscourts.gov/employment

Murder, Marshals, and Bankruptcy: An Inside Look at the Southern District of Indiana is the Seventh Annual Court History and Continuing Legal Education Symposium. The event will be presented on Friday, November 7, 2014, at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and United States Court House, 46 East Ohio Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. The program will be held in the William E. Steckler Ceremonial Courtroom (Courtroom 202). The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has appointed Jeffrey J. Graham to a 14-year term as United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Indiana.
