Magnus-Stinson, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, is pleased to announce that a formal swearing-in ceremony for United States District Judge James Patrick Hanlon is scheduled for Friday, February 1, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and United States Courthouse. Chief Judge Magnus-Stinson will preside over the en banc ceremony in the William E. Steckler Ceremonial Courtroom (courtroom 202). See the Press Release for more information.

The Black History Month event that was set to take place on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and United States Courthouse has been POSTPONED. The Women's Voices in the Courtroom event set for January 25, at 1:00 pm, has been moved to the Wynne Courtroom, Inlow Hall, 530 West New York Street, Indianapolis, at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Individuals who previously registered but can no longer attend due to the change in venue are requested to email kowens@inbar.org as soon as possible to withdraw their registration.
