Join the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana for a 2-day workshop on the federal courts! This event is designed for middle school and high school social studies teachers and is appropriate for both government and history courses.

Teachers will gain practical knowledge, classroom activities and lesson plans, and a variety of resources. Topics include an introduction to the federal courts, careers in the federal courts, citizenship & naturalization, curriculum development, and much more! Tour the Historic Birch Bayh Building and U.S. Courthouse and learn about the history of the federal courts in Indiana, along with important cases in the court's history.

This event is FREE, but space is limited to 25 participants! Registration is required. Lunch and materials will be provided at no cost to participants.
