Federal Court Interpreter Certification Examination

The written phase of the examination will be administered May 5 - 19, 2025.  Registration will be from February 3 - May 2, 2025.  Candidates must pass the written exam to qualify for the oral exam.  

The oral phase will be administered August 4 - 18, 2025, and registration will be from June 23 - August 1, 2025.

Pursuant to the Court Interpreter's Act, 28 U.S.C. § 1827, the Southern District of Indiana contracts with federally certified, professionally qualified and language skilled interpreters to provide services for court proceedings.
