The Honorable Jane E. Magnus-Stinson, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, today issued a General Order that supersedes portions of previous General Orders issued in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, and specifically within the Southern District of Indiana. Please read the General Order for specific details. This order announces that, effective March 23, 2020, and until further notice, the Court will accept filings from pro se litigants via email, so long as such filings comply with specific requirements outlined in the General Order.  Additionally, the Court has ordered that all payments by telephone are temporarily suspended.
