In observation of the national day of mourning declared by the President of the United States, in recognition of the passing of former President George H.W. Bush, and balancing with the needs of the public and litigants, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana will be operating on a modified basis on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. The Terre Haute and New Albany Divisions will be closed. The Indianapolis and Evansville Divisions will operate with limited staff. Litigants with proceedings scheduled in the Indianapolis and Evansville Divisions should assume all scheduled proceedings will move forward, unless specifically notified otherwise by the Court.
