This month, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the federal courthouse in Terre Haute. To commemorate this milestone anniversary, a portrait of Judge Larry J. McKinney is on display in the Terre Haute courtroom through the end of the year. As Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana from 2001 to 2007, Judge McKinney was instrumental in the effort to find a new home for the district court when its former location was acquired by Indiana State University.
