Plaintiff Arthur Fey alleges that while in the custody of the Floyd County Jail for nearly two years, Nurse Practitioner Roy Washington was deliberately indifferent in failing to treat his chronic and severe neck pain, which was the result of an injury he sustained before going to Jail. He also alleges that Floyd County Sheriff Steve Bush deliberately spent too little money on inmate care. Mr. Fey is no longer incarcerated. The Court has screened through claims against NP Washington and Sheriff Bush. Sheriff Bush has filed a motion to dismiss, which the Court has not yet ruled on. The Court seeks counsel to represent Mr. Fey through final judgment. No settlement conference or trial dates have been set yet.
