The Court seeks to recruit counsel to represent the plaintiff in an upcoming Pavey Hearing scheduled for March 19, 2026. The Pavey Hearing will cover whether the Plaintiff, James Higgason, exhausted his available administrative remedies before filing the lawsuit. Plaintiff is currently incarcerated at Pendleton Correctional Facility. He alleges in this Section 1983 case that Defendants violated his Eighth Amendment rights by depriving him of adequate nutrition and hygiene during a lock-down at the facility from October 2023 to January 2024.
