Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) is the integrated case management and electronic docketing system used in all federal courts. CM/ECF provides an easy-to-use electronic case filing feature that allows court documents to be filed and viewed over the Internet.
What is PACER?
Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information from federal appellate, district and bankruptcy courts, and the PACER Case Locator via the Internet. What is JAMS?
The Judicial Automated Management System (JAMS) was used by the Southern District of Indiana prior to the implementation of the CM/ECF system. JAMS provides case information for civil cases filed before 7/1/2002, and for criminal cases filed before 2/1/2007 (with certain exceptions).
