Charles Cross, who is incarcerated at the Indiana State Prison, alleges in this case that, when he was confined at the Wayne County Jail, he was subjected to excessive force and unconstitutional conditions and denied books and mail. The parties agree that a settlement conference could be beneficial in resolving these claims and one has been set for October 7, 2025 from 9:30 until 12:30 Central Time. Counsel is requested to represent Mr. Cross for the settlement conference.
