Stanley v Byrd, et al, 2:20-cv-294-JMS-MJD

The Court is seeking to recruit counsel to assist plaintiff Stanley with his response to a pending motion for summary judgment on the issue of failure to exhaust administrative remedies. Defendants allege that Mr. Stanley filed no grievances, so the issue will be whether the administrative process was "available" to him at a time when he was allegedly illiterate and allegedly suffering from lung cancer. If the issue of exhaustion is resolved in Mr. Stanley's favor, the Court would appreciate counsel assisting him on the merits of his deliberate indifference to a serious medical need claims relating to alleged denial of treatment for large mass on his left lung, resulting in the removal of that lung.
